Frank Frazetta RIP


Frank Frazetta's work transformed my vision of the world.

My first encounter with Frazetta was perhaps the cover of Conan the Conqueror, which I found tucked away in the back shelves in my local library. My first experience with Conan was this novel by Robert E. Howard, but the way I saw Conan was through the imagination of Frank Frazetta.

Conan would be published by Ace Books by the time I was old to buy my own copies, but those Frazetta covers were still there, brimming with vitality and savage romance.
